Our Story
Since being established in 1804, Sardis Baptist Church has been advancing the kingdom of God throughout Saluda County and beyond. In a day and age when people "shop for churches" we don't attempt to "market" our church by offering multiple programs to entice "customers." Jesus did not call us to make converts, but disciples. In short, we are a small traditional rural church made up of people who love the Lord, His word and others. You will find us to be a friendly and unified church family. We desire to glorify God by becoming fully devoted multiplying disciples of Jesus Christ.

(On the 3rd Wednesday of each month, our missions organizations meet in small groups.)

WORSHIP SERVICES
As Christ's people, we understand worship as a corporate gathering  of God's people to worship Him. We welcome everyone and out of respect for our guest's privacy, we don't make a fuss over visitors or call attention to them during the service. Our desire is for you to have a genuine experience of communion with the Lord in worship.
